Energy Services West The GIS Manager manages the day- to day operations the design and construction team based in Spokane, Washington. This is a manager level position, overseeing efforts to integrate ArcGIS software throughout the company. The GIS Manager is fluent in ArcGIS software and is familiar with an array of geoprocessing tools and their capabilities to problem solve and provide work-around solutions to common ArcGIS processing errors and obstacles.  The GIS Manager leverages strong geospatial skills and collaborates with experts in various disciplines to apply GIS technologies on a variety of projects within the power generation and transmission industry.  Familiarity with the application of GIS in Geologic, Geotechnical and/or Environmental fields is a plus.

ENERGY SERVICES WEST    The Geotechnical Staff Engineer is involved in a variety of structural engineering projects with a focus on foundation engineering, emphasizing design-build delivery methods for electrical transmission and distribution projects. The Structural Staff Engineer, EIT interfaces with a multi-disciplinary engineering team consisting of civil, structural, geotechnical, and various construction management personnel. This position is responsible for supporting design production including calculations and construction drawings. The position may also coordinate with outside design consultants in the preparation and delivery of design projects.    

Energy Services West Quality Manager - Lead  The On-Site Quality Manager Lead is responsible for monitoring and auditing the Quality Manager team’s  quality management requirements for the project, as well as the execution of the project Quality Management Plan. This position will work closely with Quality Mangers, Project Managers and Construction Managers for the monitoring and oversight of project quality objectives/activities. The On-Site Quality Manager – Lead serves as a lead for ESW in the planning and surveillance/monitoring of procured equipment and materials and assists the Quality Director in measuring Quality Management System processes.

The Project Engineering (or Hydro) Geologist (or Geophysicist)interfaces with a multi-disciplinary engineering team consisting of civil, structural, geotechnical, and various construction management personnel.   This role is primarily an office-based position to execute both pre-construction geotechnical investigations, geologic hazard assessments, and construction-phase monitoring services. Periodic fieldwork is also expected.  At the Project level, the Project Engineering Geologist will be expected to apply advanced engineering and geologic principles to solve complex problems.  A successful candidate is able to utilize geologic judgement, field observations, and digital technologies such as LiDAR and GIS to assess and quantify geologic conditions and construction risk. They may also take on the role of task/field manager on more complex projects or in a lead capacity supervising professional staff.  The position may also coordinate and oversee work performed by outside design consultants in the preparation and delivery of design projects.

The ideal candidate is an efficient communicator and problem-solver who is very comfortable using the latest ArcGIS software and is experienced with an array of geoprocessing tools and has the capability to problem solve and provide work-around solutions to common ArcGIS processing errors and obstacles. You will have the opportunity to leverage the latest advancements in GIS software and processing techniques and to collaborate with experts in various disciplines to apply GIS technologies on a variety of projects within the power generation and transmission industry.
