QC Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic cables, conduit installations, and network connections, to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Perform quality control inspections of vault and pedestal installations
• Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution
• Support pre-construction photo/video documentation where required
• Maintain accurate records and reporting of inspection activity
• Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results
• Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely work alone in remote locations, operate a vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally work at heights, use a ladder, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications:

• Valid State driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• One year of relevant work experience
• Must be proficient with Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc. 
• Must know the quality processes and be familiar with a variety of safety programs
• Previous telecommunications work experience is preferred
• Exceptional organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, dependable, and proactive
• Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction industry standard practices
• Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation
• Authorization to work in the United States
