About this Role

WT Byler, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for operating heavy equipment (rolling) on WT Byler projects including commercial, industrial, railroad and retail locations.

 

The position is located in Houston, TX but will require the ability to travel. (Travel compensation is available for some assignments)

What You'll Do

  • Operates one of the following: backhoe, front end loader, excavator, bulldozer, track hoe, motor grader, and/or off-road dump truck.
  • Ensuring that project safety and health is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, including client standards and requirements.
  • Assure the unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures or the intended use of the equipment.
  • Complete and submit equipment inspections per project requirements.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience operating heavy rolling equipment
  • Current valid driver license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel for extended project assignments
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and physical
