About this Role

R.R. Cassidy, a Quanta Services company, is looking to grow our team in 2025 by adding a Human Resources Manager for our Beaumont, TX area location.

In this role, you will oversee human resource functions for the Beaumont location, ensuring compliance and supporting staffing and employee relations needs. This position will report directly to the HR Manager at the home office, working closely to align HR practices with company policies while addressing local operational needs.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Human Resources functions for the Beaumont location, including:
    • Strategically promote job openings to fulfill staffing needs using online platforms (Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, social media) and in-person events (job fairs, local high school events).
    • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork and coordination of pre-jobsite training sessions.
    • Coordinate and manage employee drug and alcohol screenings to ensure compliance.
    • Manage the company’s social media presence for recruitment and employee engagement, including updating, posting, and monitoring posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
    • Organize company-wide offsite meetings, including venue and catering reservations and preparing PowerPoint presentations.
    • Ensure completion and submission of required paperwork, such as new hire documentation, termination notices, Department of Transportation physical exams, and Motor Vehicle Record reports, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Lead day-to-day HR operations at the Beaumont location, addressing issues as they arise and supporting local management teams.
    • Regularly communicate and align HR practices with the HR Manager at the home office to ensure consistency and compliance with company-wide policies.

What You'll Bring

    • A college degree is preferred but not required.
    • Experience in Human Resources, with knowledge of HR functions, processes, and procedures.
    • Proven ability to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations effectively.
    • Familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
    • Leadership and communication skills to influence and build relationships at all levels.
    • Physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings (both pre-employment and random).
