Power Engineering Services, a Quanta Services company, is looking an experienced NETA Technician 3 or 4 to join our team in Converse, TX.

 

The NETA Technician 3 or 4 at Power Engineering will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing technical services operations within the organization. They will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems, particularly those adhering to NETA 3 standards, are installed, maintained, and repaired effectively and safely. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What You'll Do

  • Be the primary point of contact for all field service issues/requests
  • Assist inside sales with estimating needs by providing technical guidance.
  • Become a primary point of contact for all matters associated with field services.
  • Prepare senior technicians for jobs that are assigned to them.
  • Provide on-site technical support as needed.
  • Provide technical/hands-on training.
  • Determine technician qualifications in conjunction with senior leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Associates degree in a technical field
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, preferred
  • NETA certification level 3 or 4 (required).
  • Proven experience in technical services management, with a focus on electrical systems and NETA 3 standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical testing procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications for project management, documentation, and data analysis
