About this Role

A Payroll Specialist at Irby Construction Company primary function is ensuring accurate and timely processing payroll for all employees, managing tax deposits, reporting across multiple states, and overseeing various employee deductions.

 

What You'll Do

  • Payroll Processing: Process weekly payroll for approximately 1500+ employees, including data imports, verifications, and adjustments.
  • Tax Deposits & Reporting: Manage federal and multi-state tax deposits and reporting to ensure compliance.
  • Employee Deductions: Handle various employee deductions accurately and efficiently.
  • Adheres to all company policies while conducting company business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Proficient in Excel
  • High School Diploma, prefer associate’s degree or certification
  • Prefer 2 years’ experience in processing payroll.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Ability to adapt and function independently
  • Organizational skills.
  • Can work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dependable, reliable and personable.
