About this Role

Brink Constructors, Inc.

 

Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to others in the office to maintain an efficient project environment. 

 

Location: 

This full-time position will work out of our field-based trailer office in Cheyenne, WY. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 7am-5pm and may vary based on needs. Position will require wearing personal protective equipment while working on construction site in job site office trailer.

 

Pay: This is a non-exempt hourly role. The pay range is $20 - $25 per hour

What You'll Do

  • Performing Administrative Activities — Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
  • Prepares outgoing mail for distribution
  • Fax, scan, and copy documents
  • Maintain office filing and storage systems
  • Update and maintain databases
  • Retrieve information when requested
  • Type documents, reports and correspondence
  • Coordinate and organize appointments and meetings when needed
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies
  • Perform work related errands as requested, such as going to the post office and bank
  • Daily clean-up of office
  • Assist in booking travel and lodging arrangements as needed
  • Save Daily reports, three week rolling schedules, JHA’s, Equipment Reports on file server
  • Organize file server
  • Assist in updating manpower board off of Manpower reports to reflect current weeks changes made by Construction Manager or above
  • Print and put together workbooks/project books
  • Update pole plans with information from management and submit to owner
  • Fill out and submit ECR to owner with information off of daily report from foreman
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • Drug Free Workplace: must submit and pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Previous office experience
  • Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma or GED, business college experience is helpful
  • Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent
  • Internet skills including use of emails, group messaging and data collection
  • Propensity for multi-tasking
