Are you ready to take your IT career to the next level as a Technical Business Analyst at Quanta Services, a leading construction company in the utility service industry, is seeking a highly motivated IT professional to support and optimize our state-of-the-art Fleet Management System Platforms, Verizon Connect (VZC) and Lytx Drivecam (Lytx) for one of the largest private fleets in the world.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in technology and problem-solving skills to provide expert level analysis and support for the VZC and Lytx fleet platforms. You will be responsible for understanding the operational processes and related requirements of Fleet Management as they pertain to the fleet platforms and working closely with Quanta Operating Units to resolve issues, implement new features, and ensure optimal system utilization. You will act as a primary point of contact for fleet platform related matters and be the Subject Matter Expert and liaison between the fleet platform Development/Product teams and internal Fleet resources at Operating Units.

You will be responsible for understanding the business needs and requirements and work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that will optimize the use of the platform and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their Fleet Management operations. This will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.

• Serve as an Application Subject Matter Expert.
• Ability to derive requirements for process changes/additions to the fleet platforms using interviews, document analysis, task and workflow analysis.
• Critically evaluate requirements and contribute to prioritization of the fleet platform enhancement initiatives based on overall business and operations benefit.
• Participate in development and maintenance of thorough, current functional and systems documentation, business process flow diagrams, and end user training materials.
• Participate in fleet data quality clean-up/standardization initiatives.
• Participate in new Operating Unit Fleet onboardings and manage organizational changes in the fleet platforms.
• Liaison with the Data Integration team regarding reporting and dashboard requirements from the perspective of championing fleet data.
• Participate in Vendor Management processes.
• Actively contribute and drive towards the reduction of Non Reporting Units.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and other departments to identify, prioritize and address fleet platform related issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Participating in testing and evaluating new software releases and updates and providing feedback on the functionality and usability of the fleet platforms.
• Assisting in the development of metrics and reports to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of
  the fleet platforms and providing recommendations for improvement.

• Work is performed under general direction. Participates in determining objectives of assignment.  Plans, schedules and arranges own activities to accomplish objectives.
• Designs solutions for a variety of complex problems.
• Liaises typically with many business users in different locations and countries.
• Acts as a mentor to lesser experienced Business Analysts and System Administrators

Education / Travel / Experience

• Strong IT Background as a systems analyst/lead or similar.
• Experience with Telematics systems, Verizon Connect, Lytx and/or Geotab specific experience a strong plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in business, MIS, or equivalent field.  Additional years’ experience can be used to substitute for degree.
• 8-10+ year’s business experience.
• Travel Percentage: 5-10%
