About this Role

Quanta Services, South Region is seeking an experienced Human Resources Admin to join our team. The HR Admin provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function. This role supports the employee lifecycle from onboarding through employment changes and offboarding, while maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating HR processes, and providing responsive support to employees and managers.

 

The HR Admin plays an important role in ensuring HR activities are completed accurately, efficiently, confidentially, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and general HR questions, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle through new-hire onboarding and documentation assistance.
  • Audit employee records in the HRIS, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and status changes.
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA) and company policy; assist with audits and required reporting.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR department and business objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • 1-2 years of human resources or administrative experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as AI tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving ability, with a customer-service mindset toward employees at all levels.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting a field-based, hourly, or multi-site workforce.
  • Prior experience in construction, energy, utilities, or infrastructure services industries.
  • Spanish-English bilingual
