About this Role

The Senior Financial Analyst, Fleet is a critical contributor to Quanta's Fleet organization, driving financial performance and operational efficiency across one of the largest fleets in the infrastructure services industry. Reporting into the Procurement & Fleet function, this role is responsible for maximizing fleet utilization enterprise-wide, championing our telematics and driver-coaching programs, and managing the national account program portfolio. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor and liaison between our Fleet team and operating units — translating data into actionable insight, uncovering cost savings, and ensuring disciplined, consistent participation across a highly decentralized organization.

What You'll Do

  • Drive fleet utilization. Continuously monitor underutilized assets across operating units, identify redeployment opportunities, and orchestrate equipment transfers through our dedicated transfer portal to ensure assets are working where they're needed most.
  • Assist with telematics and driver-coaching programs. Serve as the primary department liaison for both programs, deliver ad-hoc and recurring reporting, ensure safety and coaching events are properly triaged and distributed to the right stakeholders, and help translate telematics data into measurable safety and efficiency gains. Conduct program rollout and training for the driver-coaching program, ensuring stakeholders and drivers are properly onboarded and equipped to use the system effectively.
  • Manage the national accounts portfolio. Review, analyze, and summarize national account programs end to end. Partner with vendors and operating units to benchmark pricing, negotiate and confirm best-available rates, and ensure those preferred rates are actively adopted across the enterprise.
  • Deliver decision-grade reporting. Prepare and distribute key reporting on national accounts, spend, and utilization — surfacing trends, exceptions, and opportunities to leadership in a clear, compelling format.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations on both standardized and ad-hoc analyses, serving as a reliable go-to resource for fleet-related financial questions.

What You'll Bring

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field;
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience working across multiple systems and manipulating large, complex datasets;
  • A high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis, paired with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward data-driven decision-making;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear takeaways; and
  • A collaborative mindset and the credibility to work effectively with peers, operating units, and senior management alike.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of SOX controls and internal/external audit requirements preferred;
  • Familiarity with construction equipment finance and lease structures preferred; and
  • Proficiency in SQL and MS Access a plus.
