  • Overview

    Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating human resources activities relating to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL/ NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Administers HRIS to include processing of new hires, rehires, terminations, and other employee system changes.
    • Coordinates the onboarding process for new hires, including but not limited to pre-screening, communication with new hires, monitoring new hire onboarding tasks in applicant tracking system, creating new hire onboarding materials for both employees and contractors, conducting new hire orientation and handling badge photos for new hires and contractors
    • Coordinates HR department communication activities, including monthly newsletters, calls and global contact lists and main point of contact for HR inbox.
    • Coordinates with HR leadership in order to maintain the HR department’s intranet portal
    • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions, including being the point person for operating unit contact.
    • Responsible for the coordination of Corporate Learning initiatives; both for in person learning/ development and web based.
    • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    Required Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

     

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and minimal experience preferred.

    • Travels:  Minimal

     

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

    Language Skills:  English – Basic level of knowledge

    Mathematical Skills:  Basic level of knowledge

    Reasoning Skills/Abilities:  Basic level of knowledge

    Computer Skills:  Intermediate level required

    • Microsoft Office Suite: MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
    • JD Edwards experience preferred
