About this Role

Flare Construction is hiring a CDL Truck Driver to support our Gas Division out of Coalville, Utah. This is a local position with frequent travel to project sites within Utah — you’ll be home-based, not chasing out-of-state work. You’ll haul pipe, materials, and equipment to active gas construction sites and keep your truck running right, working alongside crews who take safety and craftsmanship seriously

What You'll Do

  • ransport pipe, materials, equipment, and tools to and from gas project sites, coordinating delivery timing with crew supervisors and project management 
  • Operate assigned vehicles — including semi-trucks, flatbeds, pipe trailers, and tankers — in full compliance with DOT regulations and Flare safety standards 
  • Inspect, lubricate, and fuel your vehicle before each shift; identify and report mechanical issues promptly 
  • Load, unload, and secure pipe, materials, and equipment using proper rigging, straps, chains, and load-securing methods 
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, pre-trip inspection records, and required DOT documentation 
  • Participate in daily tailgate safety meetings and required safety training 
  • Support project mobilization and demobilization, including equipment staging and site positioning 
  • Work flexible schedules as project demands require, including occasional nights, weekends, and short-notice mobilizations within Utah 

What You'll Bring

Required 

  • Class A or B CDL 
  • Current DOT medical card 
  • Clean driving record 
  • Must be 21 years of age or older 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. and work in all weather conditions 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 

Preferred 

  • OSHA 10 certification 
  • Tanker endorsement 
  • Prior experience hauling pipe, materials, or equipment on gas or pipeline projects 
  • Doubles/Triples or Hazmat endorsements 
  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in transportation or pipeline operations
