About this Role

R.R. Cassidy is seeking a Craft Recruiter to support workforce hiring and onboarding activities across the organization. This role is responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified craft and field personnel while partnering closely with operations leadership to meet workforce demands.

 

The Craft Recruiter serves as a key resource throughout the hiring process, supporting candidate sourcing, screening, onboarding coordination, and employment documentation review to ensure employees are hired efficiently and in compliance with company requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for craft, field, and operational positions
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, recruiting events, and other recruiting channels
  • Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions with operational leaders
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support current and future workforce needs
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure all required employment documentation is completed accurately
  • Review new hire paperwork for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company requirements
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screens, employment verifications, and other pre-employment activities
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting records, and onboarding documentation
  • Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity to support workforce planning initiatives
  • Support job fairs, workforce development programs, and community outreach efforts

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or workforce development
  • Experience recruiting for construction, industrial, skilled trades, or field-based positions preferred
  • Strong understanding of recruiting processes, candidate sourcing strategies, and onboarding practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
