About this Role

Flare Construction, LLC  is actively hiring an experienced Water Truck Driver for a long-term civil construction project near Eagle Mountain, Utah. This is a stable, extended assignment with a well-established contractor — not a short-term gig. If you know how to run a water truck on an active job site and you want steady work close to home, we want to hear from you.

The Details

  • Location: Eagle Mountain, UT (long-term project assignment)
  • Schedule: Full-time; Overtime required as needed, scheduling based on project needs, including early starts
  • Travel: Project-based; this assignment is local to Eagle Mountain but occasional travel to other locations may be required

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

  • Operate a water truck on an active civil construction site to support dust control, compaction, and site grading operations
  • Coordinate water application with grade checkers, equipment operators, and crew supervisors to keep the project on schedule
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and DOT documentation per federal and company requirements
  • Participate in daily tailgate safety meetings and all required site safety training
  • Support general site logistics as needed throughout the project

What You'll Bring

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL license required
  • Current DOT medical card required
  • Experience operating a water truck on civil construction, grading, or earthwork projects strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3,000 hours CDL driving experience preferred; experienced candidates at all levels encouraged to apply
  • Tanker endorsement a plus
  • Working knowledge of DOT Hours of Service and pre-trip inspection requirements
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and maintain a consistent schedule on a long-term project
  • Clean driving record required
