  • Overview

    The Quality Manager is responsible for the overall development, implementation and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). 


    • Ensures that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001 and regulatory/legal requirements.
    • Develops Quality Manual, project specific Quality Plans, and Inspection & Test Plans.
    • Manages the monitoring, measurement and review of internal processes that affect the quality of the organization’s services and products.
    • Reports to top management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
    • Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
    • Keeps up on standards, regulations/laws, issues and news with respect to product (service) quality.
    • Works with customers, employees, contractors and outsourcing firms to develop product requirements.
    • Oversees inspection (examination) of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements.
    • Devises and reviews specifications for products or processes.
    • Ensures adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
    • Keeps accurate documentation and performs statistical analysis.
    • Solicits feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met.
    • Submits detailed reports to appropriate executives.
    • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Required Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree and 5 – 7 years of experience in the field OR 10+ years of experience.


    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

    Communication Skills:  Advanced level of English knowledge required                                   

    Reasoning Skills/Abilities:  Advanced level required

    Computer Skills:  Intermediate level user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
