About this Role

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking a Billing Manager to lead billing operations and help ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing across the business. This role is responsible for overseeing the billing process, supporting internal controls, and partnering with operations, project teams, and finance to resolve issues and improve efficiency. The Billing Manager will also provide leadership to the billing team, promote accountability, and help develop processes that support strong service and operational performance.

 

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000, based on experience 

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day billing operations to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time
  • Supervise, coach, and develop billing staff while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Review billing transactions, customer requirements, and contract terms to help ensure compliance with company standards and project expectations
  • Partner with project managers, operations, accounting, and other internal teams to resolve billing issues, support collections, and improve billing accuracy
  • Monitor billing schedules, workflows, and team performance to ensure deadlines are met
  • Review and approve invoices, adjustments, and supporting documentation as needed
  • Help establish and maintain billing procedures, controls, and reporting tools to support efficient operations
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and implement best practices to enhance billing performance
  • Support month-end close activities related to billing, revenue support, and reconciliations
  • Assist with customer inquiries, audit requests, and internal reporting needs
  • Maintain billing records and documentation in accordance with company requirements
  • Serve as a resource for escalated billing questions and help drive timely resolution

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 10+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or related finance experience
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members
  • Experience managing workflows, setting priorities, and driving results in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience workijng within large ERP systems, JD Edwards (JDE) preferred
  • Strong understanding of billing processes, invoicing requirements, and internal controls
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective relationships with operations, project teams, and finance partners
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to handle issues professionally and provide clear direction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systems
  • Construction, project-based, or contract billing experience preferred

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
