About this Role

The Warranty Coordinator at Ampacity manages the full warranty lifecycle for Ampacity's solar projects, from supplier documentation and claim intake through replacement coordination and final closeout. This role works closely with operations, field teams, and suppliers to make sure warranty coverage is confirmed, claims are moving, and nothing gets missed. The right person for this role is organized, process-oriented, and able to juggle multiple open items across teams and vendors at the same time.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000

What You'll Do

  • Act as the main point of contact for warranty questions from internal teams and suppliers. Keep a live tracker of open claims, aging items, and pending replacements, and share regular updates with stakeholders.
  • Create standard intake forms, handoff steps, and escalation paths that reduce delays, cut down on rework, and help claims get approved the first time.
  • Chase down delayed approvals, backordered parts, and disputed coverage. Escalate recurring issues and keep clear records of decisions and next steps.
  • Maintain a central, up-to-date repository for all warranty records including terms, claims, approvals, RMAs, and closeout packages so teams always have what they need.
  • Track warranty-related costs and credits including labor, parts, freight, and supplier reimbursements, and help with chargeback and recovery processes when needed.
  • Identify patterns in repeat failures and share findings with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support root-cause analysis and prevent future issues.
  • This role will evolve over time with the needs of the business.

What You'll Bring

  • Warranty or claims coordination experience - Prior experience managing warranty claims, RMAs, and supplier coordination from start to finish.
  • Strong organization and follow-through - Ability to manage multiple open items at once without letting things slip through the cracks.
  • Clear communicator - Comfortable working with suppliers, field teams, and internal stakeholders through email, meetings, and reports.
  • Process-oriented mindset - Able to spot gaps in a workflow and put simple, repeatable steps in place to fix them.
  • Proficiency with tracking tools - Comfortable using Excel, Procore, or similar platforms to track claims, parts, and project status.
  • Travel: Minimum 50% | Job sites across the continental United States
