  • Overview

    Manage interaction, build rapport, prioritize requests, and systematize communications between Corporate, Operating Units (OpU) and Northwest Lineman College (NLC).  Work with senior leaders and managers across the businesses to create strategy and tactics (including processes, documentation and communications) to increase awareness of, and assure consistency in messaging regarding, NLC capabilities and resourcing.


    • Collaborate with Core Integration Team to execute Strategic Integration Objectives
    • Act as primary point of contact to manage interaction and communication between OpU and NLC
    • Build rapport with Senior Leaders and Managers within Corporate, OpUs and NLC
    • Lead creation of, and day to day management of, tools and meetings to manage regular communications, reports and cadence to Core Integration Team and Senior Leadership; can be through existing software and tools or through a more informal set of systems
    • Work with Core Integration Team to form processes and develop and maintain documentation
    • Though developing an understanding of the needs of the business, work with Core Integration Team and Senior Leaders to provide timely answers to requests
    • Prioritize action items, activities and plans
    • Identify, manage and escalate risks; resolve issues
    • Become a trusted advisor and source of insight
    • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures
    • Travel 50-75%
    • Performs other duties as assigned


    • Bachelors degree in Business, Communication, Education, Construction Management and/or minimum 15 years of field experience Electrical, Gas or Telecom Industries (supervisory or leadership experience preferred) and minimum 10 years of project management experience
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills
    • The ability to effectively interact at all levels of the business
    • Professional demeanor with the ability to coach, influence and engage
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently with the flexibility to adjust plans
    • Work autonomously and collaboratively to foster speedy results in a team environment
    • Knowledge of electrical, gas and/or telecom infrastructure, systems and services
