About this Role

A Payroll Associate is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Processing weekly Payroll for over 400+ employees, review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets.  Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

 

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation and Processing weekly Payroll for over 400+ employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets.
  • Review and update Underground Crews Spreadsheets weekly.
  • Keep Track of PTO / Vacations for all Employees in Paylocity.
  • Daily Entry in Excel Spreadsheets of Commission / Billing Sheets for All Production Employees- Hockley and McKinnon offices.
  • Review and confirm correctness of Employee Timesheets.
  • Review Regular Hours, OT and discrepancies.
  • Enter worked hours, Holiday, vacations in Spectrum for all employees.
  • Enter total Wages Companywide in Spectrum.
  • Weekly Close Hours in Paylocity.
  • Create and run Time Keeping Report for all employees.
  • Create and Separate Batches accordingly by location, salary, hourly and production.
  • Answer and clarify employees on payroll related inquiries.
  • Print Pay Coversheets for All Production Employees.
  • Scan and upload batches for Payroll back up, Salary, Hourly, Production & Underground crews along with Time Sheets and save them in Payroll Folder.
  • E-mail weekly Pay Coversheets to each Production Employee.

Work Environment:

 

Operate in a modern office setting with a structured and deadline-driven, and detail oriented.  This role requires extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, with a strong focus on accuracy and data management.

 

The position involves regular collaboration with Human Resources and other departments to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies.
