The Accounts Payable Clerk, Corporate Accounting is responsible for maintaining, compiling and processing records for all billable concerns that are carried out by the company, by its employees within all divisions.  Assists in the daily operations of the accounts payable department including but not limited to participation in preparing general accounting journal entries as assigned, monthly closing and supporting the senior account payable in carrying out responsibilities in the accounting division.



  • Check the accounting mail inbox twice a day
  • Check the QCO Accounts payable email inbox frequently throughout the day
  • Print and scan ALL invoices that come through the AP email inbox
  • Responsible for coding, routing, and vouchering the invoices for assigned Business units
  • Check run back up
  • Stuff checks and ensure the address on the checks matches to the address on the invoice if it doesn’t match update the vendor maintenance with the new address
  • Send out weekly email reminders to TAP approvers reminding them to approve invoices
  • Voucher and process expense reports
  • Research vendor statements
  • Assist with year- end audit requests and audit schedules as assigned, both internal and external audits.
  • vendor setup and profile maintenance
  • Maintain TAP Routes
  • Maintain AP filing system
  • Stays in compliance with Accounts Payable controls.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.



  • Two-Three years experience of accounts payable experience.
  • Ability to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software;
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of office procedures and practices
  • Ability to prepare, maintain and audit financial and statistical records;
  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
