About this Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive DOT Compliance Coordinator to join our Safety & Compliance team. In this role, you will be the go-to person for everything related to DOT driver compliance across three operating companies working in multiple states. From onboarding new drivers compliantly to keeping our active driver workforce in good standing with FMCSA regulations, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our people on the road safely and legally.

You’ll work directly with drivers and operations leaders to manage driver qualification files, oversee regulatory reporting, and resolve compliance issues before they become violations. This is a hands-on role, when drivers need help getting into compliance, you’ll be the one making it happen, whether that’s over the phone, through follow-up, or by heading out to the jobsite.

What You'll Do

  • Keep driver records in order — maintain DQFs, MVR checks, Med Cards, Clearinghouse queries, and annual affidavits for our CDL driver workforce.
  • Handle compliance reporting — submit FMCSA and DOT reports on time and help coordinate the random drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Keep leadership in the loop — share regular driver compliance status updates and flag anything that needs attention before it becomes an issue.
  • Chase down non-compliance — follow up until issues are resolved, escalate the tough ones to management, and head out to jobsites when drivers need hands-on help.
  • Get new hires started right — manage all pre-employment DOT requirements during onboarding so drivers are compliant before their first day on the road.

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in DOT/FMCSA compliance, fleet safety, transportation operations, or something closely related.
  • Hands-on experience managing Driver Qualification Files and DOT recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with FMCSA Clearinghouse queries and reporting.
  • Experience with fleet or compliance management systems (NECS or equivalent).
  • Highly organized — you can manage a lot of moving pieces, deadlines, and follow-ups without things slipping.
  • Good communicator who can work with drivers, ops teams, and leadership without missing a beat.
  • Willing to travel to jobsites as needed for driver support.

Preferred:

  • CDS, DOC, or a similar compliance certification (or working toward one).
  • Experience with DataQs and CSA score management.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Background in utility construction, infrastructure, or a similar industry.

What You'll Get

At Probst Electric Inc., a proud subsidiary of Quanta Services (NYSE: PWR), you’ll join a team that takes pride in delivering high‑voltage transmission construction, design‑build solutions, and maintenance services for public and private utilities. With offices across Utah and Idaho and projects spanning the nation, we bring expertise in transmission, distribution, drilling, underground work, and renewable energy—along with a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork in everything we do.

We Offer

  • Enjoy exceptional benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with a strong company match.
  • Be part of an industry‑leading safety culture, strengthened by Quanta Services’ unwavering commitment to safety and its world‑class national training network.
  • Access unlimited career growth opportunities and advance your future within the expansive Quanta family of companies.
