What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

 

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful planning, execution, and delivery of mission‑critical electrical projects, including data center construction. This role provides overall leadership for project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, financial performance.

 

With a strong focus on quality, accountability, and collaboration, the Project Manager drives results by aligning people, processes, and resources to deliver complex projects safely, ethically, and with exceptional attention to detail.

 

Project Planning & Ingenuity

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that clearly define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, applying strategic thinking and ingenuity to anticipate challenges and drive successful outcomes.
  • Identify, allocate, and manage human and material resources to support efficient project execution while maintaining alignment with project milestones and commitments.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, fostering accountability, clarity, and collaboration.
  • Assign responsibilities, set clear expectations, and provide ongoing guidance to ensure work progresses effectively and aligns with project goals.
  • Continuously monitor project risks, resolve issues promptly, and adapt plans to minimize disruptions—demonstrating sound judgment and ownership throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Quality Control & Craftsmanship

  • Implement and enforce quality control processes that ensure all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, accuracy, and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and partner with clients, field teams, and subcontractors to proactively address quality‑related concerns.
  • Monitor construction progress, lead regular project status meetings, and ensure schedules are followed and updated as needed.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and well‑maintained, reinforcing integrity and transparency across all phases of the project.

 

Budget Management & Accountability

  • Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and risk mitigation, with a strong commitment to fiscal responsibility and ethical stewardship.
  • Review and negotiate client contracts, including scope, terms and conditions, schedules, and services, ensuring clarity and mutual alignment.
  • Monitor optimal utilization of labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and value.
  • Quantify cost and schedule impacts associated with design or construction changes and clearly communicate impacts to all project stakeholders.

 

Change Management

  • Lead the day‑to‑day change management process for mission‑critical projects.
  • Prepare and process change order documentation, quantify scope, schedule, and cost impacts, and coordinate closely with field teams to ensure changes are implemented accurately.
  • Maintain detailed change order logs and ensure all stakeholders are informed of revised deliverables, timelines, and expectations.

 

Collaborative Leadership & Relationships

  • Build and sustain strong, trust‑based relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively address client concerns, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Model and support the company’s culture of safety, collaboration, and respect—leading by example on and off the jobsite.
  • Bring spark, energy, and professionalism to leadership, helping motivate teams and elevate performance.

 

Industry Engagement & Integrity

  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s values, expertise, and commitment to excellence within the electrical contracting industry.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all internal and external interactions.

What You'll Bring

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong ability to perform due diligence and risk assessment to support informed project decisions.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethical judgment, and professionalism in all stakeholder interactions.
  • In‑depth knowledge of building construction methods, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.
  • Familiarity with mission‑critical infrastructure, including power distribution, redundancy systems, cooling infrastructure, and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate expectations, influence outcomes, and explain complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to construction sites to remain actively engaged with project teams and field operations.

 

Demonstrated Accomplishments

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, and Accubid.
  • Proven ability to lead projects to successful completion while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction in large‑scale commercial and mission‑critical environments, including data centers.
  • History of building productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay informed of project conditions and market trends.
  • Thorough understanding of safety standards and best practices in electrical construction.

 

Education & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading industrial and/or commercial electrical construction projects with responsibility for planning, financial performance, quality, and team coordination.
  • Practical expertise managing mission‑critical or data center projects is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of relevant education, training, and applied leadership experience will be considered.

What You'll Get

Working Conditions:

The majority of the time you will work on construction job sites. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space.  You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.

Salary Range:
