A Multi-Task Workman performs entry-level work in one or more building trades (such as carpentry, masonry/finisher, painting, roofing, and welding), entry-level work in one or more mechanical equipment trades (electrical; plumbing; evaporative coolers; and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration [HVAC/R]). Duties involve the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of fixtures, equipment, and facilities.
Performs grounds maintenance operations, including mowing, trimming, horticultural work, tree work, leaf removal and mulching. Performs works within wildlife operations, including conservation, construction, and maintenance. Assists in electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities works and equipment maintenance or repairs. Performs housekeeping activities as needed: cleans, dusts, straighten rooms. Assists Head Chef in food preparation and kitchen clean up as needed.
Any combination of training, education, or experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED. Completion of a building trades apprenticeship program or equivalent and 3 - 5 years of experience in one or more of the building trades (carpentry, painting, roofing, welding, electrical, or masonry). May require basic level of proficiency in MS Office applications (Word).
