About this Role

Crux Subsurface is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll support our marketing, safety, and human resources departments by managing social media content, coordinating branded merchandise and PPE, assisting with safety program administration, and providing HR filing and onboarding support. Hourly: $20.00 - $24.50 DOE

What You'll Do

Marketing and Communications Support:

  • Manage and maintain company social media content, including drafting posts, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting consistent brand messaging.
  • Assist in content creation for web, social media, presentations, proposals, and event materials.
  • Edit and format deliverables including PowerPoints, Word documents, and organizational charts.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to ensure accuracy and clarity of messaging.
  • Manage company registrations for industry events, conferences, and promotional opportunities.
  • Order business cards as directed.

Safety Support:

  • Support PPE and Crux swag inventories, including reorder systems, minimum quantities, price checks, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain safety documentation, spreadsheets, and records in systems such as HCSS and Quanta Performance Center (QPC).
  • Order branded swag, PPE, and safety-related materials as directed.
  • Provide support to the Safety Manager for programs and assigned tasks.

HR Administration Support:

  • Perform HR filing, secure document organization, and record retention.
  • Assemble new hire packets, onboarding forms, and orientation materials.
  • Attend and support career fairs as needed.
  • Manage gym membership administration.

Cross Coverage: (Perform when required for operational backup)

  • Conduct 811 utility locate tickets, manage ticket renewals, and communicate utility responses.
  • Provide front desk coverage, including phones, and greeting visitors.
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail, prepare shipping labels, and manage postage machine supplies and funds.
  • Assist with ordering general office supplies and monitoring basic inventory levels.
  • Support planning and coordination of internal meetings, trainings, and company events.

What You'll Bring

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field and/or 2+ years related experience required.
  • Experience managing social media content for a business or organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and varied workloads with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, customer service-oriented demeanor with a professional presence.
  • Prior experience with filing, organization and general clerical functions required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) in a business setting.
  • Occasional travel within the United States may be required for events or support needs. 
  • Satisfactory results to applicable background checks required.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $24.50/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
