About this Role

The Project Administrator for the Boardman to Hemingway (B2H) project supports Crux Subsurface's construction efforts along the B2H transmission line corridor, spanning from Boardman, OR to Hemingway, ID.

 

Key responsibilities include maintaining records, processing timesheets, facilitating material delivery, assisting with work plans, RFIs, change orders, and as-built documentation, while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. This role promotes efficiency, quality, and timely project completion through strong communication and problem-solving.

 

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 DOE

What You'll Do

· Support of operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, estimating, and supervision of field activities.

· Maintain records regarding job progress, costs, material usage, and other project documentation.

· Assist project management with planning and scheduling of jobs or operations.

· Investigate problems and/or report incidents; identify and recommend solutions or alternatives as appropriate.

· Document daily work progress, incidents, and quantities installed.

· Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements and pricing.

· Work with suppliers to facilitate handling and expedite delivery of materials.

· Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.

· Assist in the preparation of work plans and work packages.

· Compile, process, and confirm daily labor timesheets.

· Participate in the preparation of purchase orders and subcontracts, performing minor solicitations and purchasing as requested.

· Maintain basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, RFIs, and memorandums.

· Enter data into the job cost system and participate in reviewing cost reports with jobsite management.

· Assist in generating change orders and as-built data for review by the Project Manager.

· Provide support to Project Manager regarding oversight of subcontractor operations.

· Maintain a productive and collaborative work environment free of harassment and discrimination; be knowledgeable of each assigned task.

· Immediately report any violations of policy (including but not limited to safety, harassment, and discrimination) to Project Manager, Superintendent, HR Manager, or any member of management.

What You'll Bring

· Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience (minimum three (3) years’ experience in construction project engineering/coordination OR Project Management Certification / Experience.

· Experience with field engineering, project scheduling, cost control, material procurement, and quantity tracking, preferred.

· Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret drawings/specifications, support the development work plans/work packages, and support RFIs, change orders, and as-built documentation.

· Proficiency with administrative processes and software (e.g., Microsoft Office) required; prior experience with construction software (.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills; able to investigate issues and propose practical solutions.

· Effective communication skills to coordinate with design engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and field crews.

· This position requires on-site support of Boardman to Hemingway project locations.
