PAR Electrical Contractors is seeking an experienced Transmission Construction Manager to oversee and manage high-voltage transmission line construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for directing field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards.
Based in Aurora, CO, the Transmission Construction Manager will work closely with project management, engineering, safety, and client teams to deliver complex transmission projects while maintaining PAR’s strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Salary Range is: 185k - 225k based on experience
As a Transmission Construction Manager, you will:
Oversee day-to-day construction activities for transmission line projects
Lead and support superintendents, foremen, and field crews to ensure safe and productive operations
Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and client requirements
Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project milestones
Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Monitor project progress and resolve field issues impacting schedule, quality, or safety
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Review construction plans, specifications, and work packages to ensure constructability
Support work planning, method development, and risk mitigation strategies
Participate in pre-construction planning, job briefings, and safety meetings
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across all transmission operations
The ideal candidate will bring:
Extensive experience in high-voltage transmission line construction
Strong leadership background managing large field teams and complex projects
In-depth knowledge of transmission construction methods, equipment, and materials
Proven ability to manage schedules, manpower, and resources effectively
Strong understanding of safety regulations and utility construction standards
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with clients, unions, and internal teams
Proficiency with construction documentation and project reporting tools
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Lineman, General Foreman, or Superintendent
Experience working in a union environment
Strong understanding of transmission standards, ROW requirements, and environmental compliance
