This highly skilled Business Analyst will collaborate with various departments to analyze complex business operations and provide recommendations to align individual business functions with our organizational goals. 

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Participate in business analysis activities to drive key business decisions and translate them into specific technical requirements.  Develop and standardize programs to automate processes within different business units, enhancing efficiency.  Present fully vetted initiatives with accurate due diligence and risk assessment.  Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Process Implementation: Maintain a financial reporting structure within the company using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Power Automate.  Create apps and reporting systems for forecasting future financial data and productivity.  Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.  Enhance existing reporting and analytics by gathering user feedback and incorporating it to redesign, improve, merge, or add new content into existing BI reports.
  • Collaborative Leadership:  Collaborate with the executive team to develop analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business results.
  • Industry Networking: Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting its values and expertise in the electrical contracting sector.  Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and ethics with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications. including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Ability to manipulate data, create tables and update reports.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Certificate in Data Analytics, Data Management, or equivalent certificate, preferred.
  • 1-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

Working Conditions:

The majority of the time you will work in a typical office environment.  Occasionally, you may travel to a construction job site. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space.  You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.

Benefits Overview:

IME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package.  Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month after hire.  In addition, employees are offered a substantial amount of PTO and are immediately eligible to make contributions to a generously matched and fully vested 401k. 

 

Salary Range:  $85,000 - $115,000

 *Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.*

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $85,000.00/Yr. - USD $115,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
