About this Role

Ampacity is hiring a Supply Chain Coordinator to support our growing operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to launch their career in supply chain management within the solar energy industry. The Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining data accuracy, coordinating vendor communications, and supporting the purchasing team with day-to-day operations. This position offers hands-on experience with procurement processes, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role is fully remote. While candidates from anywhere in the US are welcome to apply, we have a preference for those located in the Baltimore, MD area for easier face-to-face connection opportunities with the hiring manager

 

Pay Range: $25-27/hr

What You'll Do

  • Enter and maintain accurate data in NetSuite, including purchase orders, item records, and pricing updates 
  • Coordinate with vendors to track order status, confirm delivery dates, and follow up on outstanding shipments 
  • Assist the purchasing team with preparing RFQs and organizing procurement documentation 
  • Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve order and invoice discrepancies 
  • Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with internal teams to support expediting or delay requests 
  • Maintain organized spreadsheets and records to track orders, inventory levels, and vendor information 
  • Provide administrative support to the supply chain team, including report preparation, filing, and process improvement assistance 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, administration, or operations (internship experience is acceptable) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external vendors 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, including NetSuite or similar ERP platforms (training provided)

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Yr. - USD $29.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
