The Project Manager II – West Division manages small to mid-size power delivery and infrastructure projects, overseeing all aspects from pre-construction through project closeout. This role ensures that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
The PM II is responsible for field coordination, financial management, and client communication, and serves as a mentor to less experienced project staff.
Salary Range for this position is: $115,000 - $130,000
Lead and manage the execution of small to medium electrical utility projects.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Prepare and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
Oversee project financials, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all company and client safety and quality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, field supervision, and leadership teams.
Conduct site visits to monitor performance, resolve issues, and maintain progress.
Support bid preparation and estimating activities for new opportunities.
Drive accountability and teamwork across all project stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
3–5 years of project management experience within the electrical utility, transmission, or distribution sector.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid understanding of project scheduling, cost management, and field operations.
Strong leadership and client relationship management skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
