About Us

Are you passionate about creating sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions? Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that's shaping the future of our communities? At InfraSource, we’re looking for forward-thinking problem solvers ready to make a real impact. Join us to collaborate with industry leaders, leverage cutting-edge technology, and drive projects that matter. Let’s build a brighter, more connected world together.

About this Role

IFS InfraSource Electric is a leading clean-energy construction firm specializing in grid-scale solar farms and battery storage facilities. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to renewable energy through innovative, high-quality infrastructure projects.

As a Construction Project Manager, you will spearhead the coordination, execution, and delivery of solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from inception to commissioning. You’ll lead cross-functional teams—including engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and stakeholders—to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals.

What You'll Do

  • Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of solar PV and battery storage projects (1MW to 100MW+), including pre-construction planning, permitting, construction, commissioning, and close‑out.
  • Schedule & Budget Management: Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and budgets, proactively managing variances and executing corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise project teams—engineers, site supervisors, QA/QC, safety officers, and subcontractors—to meet project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as main liaison with clients, utilities, permitting bodies, vendors, and local authorities; maintain transparent communication.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce rigorous QC standards and OSHA-level safety protocols; conduct site inspections and report non-conformance issues.
  • Contract Administration: Administer and oversee subcontract and vendor contracts; review and process change orders and payment applications.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Update project risk registers; ensure compliance with NEC, UL, NFPA 70E, and local code requirements.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Deliver regular project updates, KPI dashboards, and close-out documentation, including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in construction project management, with at least 5years focused on grid-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline. Relevant field experience and demonstrated growth is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
  • Certifications: PMP, CCM, or equivalent strongly preferred; OSHA 30+ and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with solar PV and BESS systems—modules, inverters, BESS chemistries, SCADA—and related civil/electrical construction processes.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore (or similar), and MS Office suite.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; proven ability managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Travel & Field Presence: Willingness to travel 60–80%, including extended stays at construction sites in remote or rural locations.
  • Driving Credentials: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • NABCEP PV Installer certification.
  • Experience with grid-interconnection processes (ISO, RTOs).
  • Familiarity with energy market/regulatory frameworks.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • Career growth opportunities within a fast-growing renewable energy company.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment.
