About this Role

Potelco, Inc. is seeking a Parts Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our spare parts department in Frederickson, WA. This role ensures the efficient management of inventory, purchasing, logistics, and customer service while leading a team that supports field operations across the region. The Parts Supervisor will balance hands-on tasks with team leadership, ensuring smooth operations, strong vendor and customer relationships, and continuous improvement of department performance.

 

The anticipated compensation for this position is $75,000-$95,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

Inventory & Logistics

· Manage inventory to ensure parts availability and minimize shortages.

· Oversee purchasing and procurement of parts, tools, and supplies.

· Coordinate logistics for parts delivery and returns to meet project schedules.

· Conduct regular audits to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

 

Operations Management

· Oversee daily operations of the parts and logistics team.

· Develop and maintain processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Prepare reports on inventory, usage, and cost analysis for leadership review.

 

Internal Customer Service

· Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

· Maintain strong working relationships with field teams and key accounts.

· Provide parts availability updates and ensure timely resolution of service issues.

 

Strategic Oversight

· Contribute to long-term planning for inventory and fleet support needs.

· Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and streamline supply chain operations.

 

Team Leadership

· Train, mentor, and manage parts department staff to achieve performance goals.

· Monitor workloads and delegate tasks effectively.

· Foster a collaborative team environment focused on customer service and operational excellence.

 

Other

· Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in parts management, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and purchasing processes.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with fleet or inventory management software preferred.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in construction, utilities, or fleet operations.

· Background working with vendors and managing key accounts.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $95,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
