  • Perform regular safety audits, site inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses to identify unsafe conditions or practices; recommend and monitor corrective actions.

  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations: root cause analysis, corrective/preventive measures, documentation, and follow-up.

  • Train, coach, and mentor safety personnel, project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and field staff on safety best practices, regulatory standards (OSHA, NFPA, etc.), and company safety expectations.

  • Participate in pre-construction/planning phases to embed safety into project planning, including site-specific safety plans, equipment reviews, and hazard mitigation strategies.

  • Promote a positive safety culture: engage employees at all levels, lead safety meetings/toolbox talks, encourage reporting of hazards and near-misses, recognize safety successes.

  • Travel regularly to project sites within the region for oversight, inspections, training, and to support site safety teams.
