About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead delivery of a critical software product while shaping and strengthening the organization that supports it. This individual will serve as both a delivery leader and a team development champion, ensuring that projects are executed with excellence while fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture across the team. The role requires a balance of program delivery expertise, stakeholder management, and people development to help the organization grow in both capability and capacity.

What You'll Do

Program & Project Delivery

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of the software product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee planning, execution, risk management, and reporting for complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Partner with product director and business stakeholders to define priorities, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish and manage governance frameworks, reporting structures, and escalation paths.

Team Organization & Growth

  • Build and refine team structures that enable effective delivery, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Support workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
  • Promote knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and psychological safety within and across teams.
  • Help leaders and contributors adopt practices that enable continuous improvement and sustainable performance.

Organizational Development

  • Serve as a trusted guide in evolving how the team works together, with a focus on clarity, alignment, and shared ownership.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team leads and delivery managers.
  • Establish meaningful metrics and KPIs to measure and improve team effectiveness and value delivery.
  • Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and planning sessions to strengthen team communication and problem solving.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong background in organizational planning and team development.
  • Experience mentoring and developing leaders, not just directing teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar delivery platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience in roles combining delivery leadership with organizational growth and team scaling.
  • Exposure to large-scale software delivery and change initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance execution discipline with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Passion for building high-performing teams and developing people.
