About this Role

If you enjoy working with a great group of professionals, are accurate, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy using your construction and organizational skills, then we have a role for you on our Fleet team. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Fleet Department, which manages one of the largest utility construction fleets in the Pacific Northwest. The Fleet Specialist will assist with scheduling, compliance, recordkeeping, and communication across multiple teams to ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained, safe, and ready to support our crews in the field.

 

The anticipated compensation for this position is $28-$30/hr, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

Fleet Operations Support

· Coordinate fleet service schedules, preventative maintenance, and repairs with internal teams and external vendors.

· Maintain accurate records of fleet assets, including registrations, titles, inspections, and compliance documentation.

· Assist with equipment check-in/check-out processes, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.

· Prepare reports, track and monitor electronic documents, and support data entry through company systems and Microsoft platforms.

· Create work orders and copy invoices for recordkeeping and processing.

· Assist with parts requests and inventory tracking.

 

Administration & Communication

· Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet-related inquiries from internal teams and vendors.

· Generate reports on fleet utilization, maintenance, and cost tracking for leadership review.

· Support Fleet leadership with project coordination, scheduling, and vendor management.

· Assist with special projects and provide support to other office staff as needed.

 

Other

· Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Minimum Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in fleet coordination, parts/inventory management, operations support, or a related administrative role.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in construction, utilities, or transportation industries.

· Experience with fleet management or parts inventory software.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $28.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
