About this Role

QISG is seeking a Junior Scheduler—an entry-level role ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills (macros & advanced formulas) and at least 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will support Business Developers and Project Managers on EPC, Design-Build, and CMAR projects in power delivery and water infrastructure.

This position is perfect for someone eager to grow in project scheduling. Additional training in Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools will be provided to help you develop your skills and advance in your career.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in developing and updating CPM/LSM schedules for multiple projects.
  • Compile inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and contractors.
  • Support integration of schedules with project financials.
  • Prepare cost/resource-loaded schedules, cash flow curves, and earned value metrics.
  • Use Excel automation (macros, formulas, data analysis) to generate reporting.
  • Help with change management, risk tracking, and short-interval planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and schedule updates.

Preferred

  • Exposure to infrastructure or heavy construction projects.
  • Knowledge of earned value metrics or linear scheduling software (e.g., TILOS).
  • Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Travel
Up to 20% to job sites and regional offices in the western U.S., required. 

What You'll Bring

  • 1-2 years of engineering/construction scheduling experience (internships accepted).
  • Advanced Excel user – data manipulation, macros, and automation required.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 (will train if limited experience).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
