About this Role

Ampacity is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor at our Kentucky Distribution Center.  Key responsibilities include organizing, monitoring, collecting, and staging electrical products and materials for order fulfillment. This role encompasses all aspects of fulfillment, including product picking, packing, and staging. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager to ensure seamless operations, accurate deliveries, and an exceptional customer experience, thereby ensuring sustainability in our logistics and supply chain operations.


Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour

What You'll Do

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Schedule and oversee the warehouse team to meet fulfillment center demands, managing workflow and quality to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and machinery, overseeing general maintenance as needed.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
  • Oversee and manage logistics for electrical product transportation to customers and internal facilities, ensuring efficient delivery by communicating with drivers and air partners.
  • Coordinate and communicate order completion to the logistics team.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly warehouse operation.
  • Clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to the team, motivating them accordingly.
  • Maintain quality control with the facilities team and address any shortcomings with the logistics team.
  • Arrange the warehouse to maintain packing efficiencies.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints promptly.
  • Supervise, coach, and train the warehouse facilities team.
  • Meet company-set targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage warehouse staff
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, standing, climbing, etc.) in a warehouse environment
  • Periodic travel of 20% annually may be required.
