About this Role

PJ Helicopters is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to perform the duties below in the Shipping and Receiving Department.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify part numbers (P/N) and serial numbers (S/N)
  • Cross-check packing lists and accompanying documentation for accuracy
  • Receive parts and materials into the Veryon system
  • Scan and attach documentation to the corresponding purchase order (P/O) and part record
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards
  • Generate shipping labels and documentation (e.g., BOL, commercial invoices)
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
  • Track outbound shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous material shipping regulations (if applicable)
  • Pull, stock, count, and organize inventory items
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Maintain inventory accuracy using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methodology, unless exceptions apply (e.g., serviceable parts)
  • Stock parts upon receipt and re-stock consumables as needed
  • Organize parts and supplies in designated storage areas
  • Ensure proper labeling and shelf-life tracking
  • Issue and allocate parts to appropriate departments or personnel
  • Transfer parts between warehouses and departments (e.g., H2 to H3, MRO Shop, Paint Shop)
  • Build and distribute parts kits (e.g., Packing Kits, MRO Kits)
  • Deliver received packages to designated departments, warehouses, or personnel
  • Pick up and deliver parts to/from local vendors and service providers
  • Pull, stock, count, and organize tools
  • Transfer tools in/out of mechanics’ names during issuance
  • Verify tool condition upon return and report discrepancies

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or warehouse certifications a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., Veryon or similar ERP software)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
