About this Role

PJ Helicopters is seeking a Procurement Specialist for the performance of sourcing and purchasing of goods.

What You'll Do

Our procurement specialist will perform a variety of tasks that include, but are not limited to, the purchasing and sourcing of hardware, parts, and shop consumables from vendors, research alternative supplies to improve costs, lead time and quality. Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets to track purchasing activity, delivery status and vendor performance. Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure accurate part specifications and quantities. Manage and reconcile invoices and credit card receipts for all purchases. Ensure proper documentation and coding for accounting and audit purposes. Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. Maintain organized records of procurement transactions. Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines. Negotiate terms and conditions to optimize value and service. Evaluate vendor performance and escalate issues when necessary. Generate procurement reports to support budgeting and forecasting. Analyze purchasing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Support internal audits and compliance reviews. 

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and accountability.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
