About this Role

About Us

At Intermountain Electric, we power what matters.

For nearly 80 years, we’ve delivered electrical solutions that connect people, performance, and possibility. From hospitals and data centers to airports, government, and water infrastructure — we support the systems that power daily life and enable what’s next.

Our vision is to be the most trusted partner in powering progress — through great people, great work, and smarter ways of doing both.

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing, communications, and proposal efforts. This is a key support role that keeps the team organized, efficient, and focused — taking care of the detail-heavy, time-consuming tasks that are critical to how we show up.

What You'll Do

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day marketing, communications, and pursuit activity
  • Format proposals, presentations, reports, and internal documents
  • Build and maintain branded templates in InDesign, Adobe Express, and Word
  • Coordinate inputs, track tasks, and follow up with stakeholders
  • Draft and post content to social media (primarily LinkedIn)
  • Assist with internal campaigns, announcements, and employee communications
  • Prep signage, swag, and print materials for events and conferences
  • Maintain brand files, project photography, and internal content libraries
  • Translate complex or technical information into clean, clear visuals or messages
  • Keep timelines moving and the details under control

What You'll Bring

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, admin, or design (or a strong portfolio and work ethic if you're a recent grad)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — especially InDesign — as well as PowerPoint and Word
  • Confident writing skills with a clear, professional tone
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Comfortable working with technical content and learning on the fly
  • A few examples of your work — formatted docs, posts, layouts, or anything that shows your eye and execution

What You'll Get

How You Work

Our values guide how we show up — for each other, our clients, and the work we deliver.

You lead with integrity. You take ownership, follow through, and do things the right way — especially when no one’s watching.

You strive for excellence. You care how things look, how they read, and how they land. You hold your work to a high standard and take pride in the outcome.

You bring grit. You’re steady under pressure, dependable in the details, and the kind of person people trust to finish what they start.

You apply ingenuity. You look for ways to make things better — smarter, faster, clearer — and you’re not afraid to figure things out.

You value connection. You communicate clearly, collaborate respectfully, and make it easier for others to work with you.

And you bring spark. You show up with curiosity, energy, and the kind of presence that quietly lifts the team around you.

What you’ll get

  • Hands-on experience across marketing, design, communications, and proposals in a fast-paced B2B environment
  • Career development — not just task-doing, but learning how to strategize, plan, write, and design in ways that matter
  • A trusted team where your work matters and people notice when you do it well.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities to build your skills and grow your career.

Industry-leading benefits, including:

  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Immediate eligibility for a generously matched, fully vested 401(k)
  • A hybrid work environment with flexibility and support

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us power what matters.
