We are currently looking for an Administrative Support for our Estimating team. 

What You'll Do

About the Role:

As the Administrative Assistant on PAR Electrical’s Estimating Team, you will provide critical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the department. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working behind the scenes to help projects move forward. You will assist the estimating team with bid preparation, document management, and coordination of daily activities, while supporting the team in its efforts to maintain accurate records and data.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Estimating Team, including scheduling meetings, responding to inquiries, tracking deadlines and important bid related dates, and organizing project files.
  • Work with internal teams to gather and organize bid-related information.
  • Assist with preparation, formatting, and submission of bid packages and supporting documents.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in Salesforce and other tracking systems to support estimating activities.
  • Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and databases to ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with travel coordination, meeting logistics, and other administrative needs for the estimating team.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Team-Oriented: Positive, professional attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Salesforce Experience: Working knowledge of Salesforce for data entry and reporting.

 Must demonstrate the following abilities:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Profiency with Microsoft packages (word, excel, powerpoint, etc)
