About this Role

The FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis activities to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will serve as a key business partner to PJ Helicopters' senior leadership and operational teams by developing forecasting tools, financial models, and performance analytics. It will also provide critical support for bids, budgeting processes, and strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the annual business planning process across departments.
  • Prepare and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets in collaboration with operational leaders.
  • Maintain and update monthly financial forecasts and provide timely variance analysis versus actuals.
  • Forecast salary and wage costs, including scenario modeling and analysis.
  • Support bid and RFP efforts with tailored financial models and sensitivity analyses.
  • Develop and maintain cost models used across the business for pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Track revenue and cost at the tail/project level to improve margin visibility and accountability.
  • Continuously build and refine dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations to improve financial reporting accuracy and relevance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, ideally at a large and / or complex company.
  • Experience in construction, aviation, or industrial services preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. 
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel; experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining financial concepts. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with operational, accounting, and executive teams. 
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 
  • Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. 
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. 
  • The employee is required to perform continued periods of work at a computer and use a computer screen.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $95,000.00/Yr. - USD $110,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
