About this Role

IFS InfraSource is looking for a Material Coordinator to join our team. The Material Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the operations and/or project team(s) as it relates to material ordering, tracking, and delivery through established inventory management processes. Reviews material data sheets to ensure material compliance with specifications and material documentation. 

What You'll Do

  • Assist the Area Manager/Field Supervision with material ordering
  • Assess material inventory quantities and coordinates material delivery and pick ups
  • Performs quality inspections of materials
  • Performs material delivery to field crews to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Performs material management coordination with the customer/vendors
  • Performs warehouse material coordination for operations
  • Attend meetings as necessary and distribute appropriate data to Area/Field Management
  • Assist in gathering, evaluating and interpreting project related documents
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
